What families say

"My daughter has been going to Motivate since August and she absolutely loves it. She participates 3 times a week and never wants to miss it. The instructors and leaders are awesome and they teach more than martial arts. Her confidence, behavior, manners at home and school have improved."
"We are grateful to have found Motivate Martial Arts! The instructors are incredibly kind, encouraging, and take the time to help each student. Our 10 year old son has just graduated to his yellow belt and in our short time here, we can see his confidence and self-esteem growing with every class."
"Motivate has been an amazing place for my son and I to come and take classes. The instructors make things fun but work us hard in the Adult class. So glad we found this place a year ago."

Junior TaeKwonDo questions
Still have a question? Call or text 706‑352‑1195.
Does my child need experience?
No. Coaches start every new student with the basics and help them settle in.
Can parents watch?
Yes. Parents are always welcome to watch classes.
My child isn't very athletic. Will they keep up?
Yes. Martial arts is an individual sport done in a group, so each child works at their own level and builds coordination, balance and focus.
Will martial arts make my child aggressive?
No. Respect is part of every class. Kids learn when to use their skills and when not to.
How do belts work?
Kids earn each new belt by learning the skills for that rank and showing Focus, Respect and Discipline. Belt testing happens every few months.
Can my child try both TaeKwonDo and BJJ?
Yes. Your two-week trial lets you try both TaeKwonDo and BJJ classes. Ask us which classes fit your child's age.
What happens after the two weeks?
There's no obligation to continue. If it's a good fit, we'll go over membership options with you in person.
